ABOUT FLOWERS ON THE ROOFTOP

Cody York’s Rooftop print editions are based on the paintings from York’s series, Flowers on the Rooftop (2022). Produced with a rich and diverse palette on roofing paper, these works capture the essence of life and decay of seemingly endless species of flowers. They mark a natural evolution in York’s own practice, and his engagement with the tension between realism and abstraction. The interrelation between humanity and the environment is an important theme: York said that he wants the works “to feel like the desires and futility we get when we try to transplant nature into urban environments.”

DROP OPENS

The purchase window for this drop is open from March 20, through May 24, 2024 PMT.

PRODUCTION

After the purchase window has ended, we will start production of the artworks. Each work will be numbered and hand-signed by the artist on the label, and carefully packaged for shipment.

SHIPPING

Cody York Studio aims to deliver all the artworks within 1 month of the close of the purchase window (May 24, 2024). Please note that the exact timing is subject to demand, production capacities and potential shipping delays. Customers will be contacted with a tracking number before their work is shipped. Value-Added tax (VAT) will be added on all international shipments. Returns are excepted up till 30 days after shipment.
